Male Pattern BaldnessThe most prevalent type of hair loss in men is male pattern baldness. Some of the major causes for hair loss in men include stress due to sleep deprivation, sensitivity to male sex hormones (androgens) in the scalp and genetic problem.
As the term suggests, male pattern baldness follows a particular sequence or pattern of hair loss. Loss of hair over the top surface of the head is the most common pattern of baldness. Whatever the pattern is, baldness is an undesirable, rather, an unfortunate condition. People are on a quest to find the suitable hair loss solution or medical treatment.

If the hair fall is a sudden change- if you find large amounts of hair strands on your pillow, at the back of your shirt or when you wash your hair- then immediately consult a dermatologist before adopting any treatment for hair loss. The dermatologist will first examine the pattern of your hair loss and then suggest you a hair loss solution.

Numerous companies are coming with treatments, techniques and products to fix the hair loss problem. The best way to find a variety of products is by browsing through Internet. However, scientists are still working to find the most effective therapy to stop hair loss.

Hair loss treatments can cost you anything from $150 to $20,500, depending upon the pattern of baldness. The treatment for hair loss may be either through medication for a long term or external cosmic surgery.

Some of the most sold out hair loss medicines available in the market include Propecia and Dutasteride. These medicines have been quality tested for a number of times. However, it is recommended to get an allergy check up from a dermatologist before the opting for these medicines.

Have a Grey Hair Problem?Graying hair is one of the signs of the ageing process. Nearly half of the hair on the scalp become grey by the age of 50. But when the hair starts graying at a premature stage, many people are haunted by a great deal of anxiety and hopelessness. 

The process of graying hair usually starts in the middle age of, when the pigment cells die and the hairs loose their color. The process of graying hair takes place when the person grows older and reaches middle age. As a result, these pigment cells die and color is lost from the hairs.

According to the scientific reports, the pigment cells called as melanocytes are linket to the process of graying hair. When the melanocytes die off, the hair loses its color and turns grey. The hair is black when black chromatophore is present in sufficient amounts and when it gets reduced over time, the hair becomes grey. Another cause of graying hair is the lack of a balanced diet and stress. Sebum, an oily substance secreted by the sebaceous glands of the scalp is the source of nutrition for our hair. The luster and blackness is retained by this oily substance. When hair is given the required nutrition, the result is graying of hair.

The hair care market is now flooded with new hair coloring products that are proving to be effective in restoring the natural color of hair. These coloring products contain a common ingredient called as lead acetate, which sticks to the natural color of the hair and gradually returns the hair to its natural color.

The dose of the RDA of Vitamin A is 5000 International Units, as suggested by medical experts.

Hair: Wow! Your hair locks look great! Make them looking even more beautiful by adding certain foods in your diet that can stimulate hair growth and keep it healthy. So, look for foods containing Amino acids. The intake of protein-rich foods such as eggs, chicken, turkey, nuts and cheese are best for healthy hair.

Reduce hair loss

Sleep well:  Make sure that you get enough sleep.

Lessen your stress: Stress has become a vicious cycle in our lives. Although beat the stress levels by regularly indulging in activities that you like.

Smoking and alcohol: Try to limit the consumption of smoking and alcohol.

Diet: A balanced and nutritious diet rich in minerals and vitamins prevents hair loss.

So, follow these and make sure that you are still using your comb!!!
