• Throat infections trigger psoriasis.
• Physical and emotional stress
• Hurt on skin like cuts, bruises or burns may cause psoriasis.
• Smoking and alcohol are other two factors which activate psoriasis.
Natural Remedies:
• You can take cod liver oil, lecithin, linseed oil, vitamin E, and zinc to fasten the healing process.
• Drink a cup of fresh juice of bitter gourd; mix it with a teaspoon of lemon juice on an empty stomach daily.
• Curd can be used in the form of buttermilk in psoriasis and the patient can also drink it in liberal quantities.
• The application of buttermilk compresses the affected parts so it can be a good healing agent.
• The use of mudpacks is also beneficial for psoriasis.
• Avoid harsh skin products and lotions that contain alcohol. They may dry the skin and make psoriasis worse.
• Avoid junk, oily and spicy food.
• Take a well balanced diet including fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and grains.
• Take a daily bath in warm water to soak off the scales.
• Apply fresh cashew nut oil on the affected area of the skin.
