Skin wounds or injuries, like cuts, abrasions, and punctures, are often marked by bleeding, swelling, pain, and if infected, by pus formation. Bacteria and foreign elements that penetrate the skin through the skin tear can cause infections and hamper the body’s capability to heal the wound.
