For your healthy living part-one
There are many nutrients which are meant to protect your vital body organs. I know you are going to say that you take enough vitamin supplements in your diet but hey, it is always necessary that apart from those health supplements you should know which food strengthens as well as protects all your major body parts.
Body’s largest organ- skin: The cells of your skin are continuously replaced during normal wear and tear in your skin. So, it is crucial to keep your skin healthy.
Vitamin C increases oxygen flow to the skin. The Vitamin assists the body in the production of skin-firming collagen and helps heal scar tissue, bruises and cuts in your skin. So, include Vitamin C enriched foods like papaya, orange or grapes.
Doctors recommend the daily dose of Vitamin C should be 60 milligrams per day.
Eyes: Don’t hesitate to become another Bugs Bunny! Include sumptuous amount of carrots in your diet. The beta-carotene in carrots helps prevent damage to the eye tissues. Foods rich in Vitamin A are yams, broccoli, sweet potatoes, green leafy veggies and of course, carrot. The dose of the RDA of Vitamin A is 5000 International Units, as suggested by medical experts.
Hair: Wow! Your hair locks look great! Make them looking even more beautiful by adding certain foods in your diet that can stimulate hair growth and keep it healthy. So, look for foods containing Amino acids. The intake of protein-rich foods such as eggs, chicken, turkey, nuts and cheese are best for healthy hair.
