<p>The liver, the largest organ in the body, is a vital organ which keeps the body function properly. It removes or neutralizes poisons from the blood, produces immune agents to control infection, and removes germs and bacteria from the blood. It makes proteins that regulate blood clotting and produces bile to help absorb fats and fat-soluble vitamins. So you can’t even imagine without liver.</p>
<p>The disease affecting the liver is found to be</p>
<p>Cirrhosis, which is the seventh leading cause of death in the United States, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). “Because of chronic damage to the liver, scar tissue slowly replaces normal functioning liver tissue, progressively diminishing blood flow through the liver. As the normal liver tissue is lost, nutrients, hormones, drugs and poisons are not processed effectively by the liver. In addition, protein production and other substances produced by the liver are inhibited.”</p>
<p><strong>Causes:</strong><br />
The major causes of Cirrhosis of liver is found to be alcohol abuse, chronic viral infections, use of certain drugs, metabolic disorders, exposure to certain, environmental toxins, blockage of the bile ducts. In the United States, chronic alcoholism and hepatitis C are the most common causes of the disease.</p>
<p>Alcoholic cirrhosis usually develops after more than a decade of heavy drinking. The amount of alcohol that can injure the liver varies greatly from person to person. In men, as few as three to four drinks per day are cited as the cause of alcoholic cirrhosis. Alcohol seems to injure the liver by blocking the normal metabolism of protein, fats, and carbohydrates.</p>
<p><strong>Symptoms:<br />
</strong>A long list of symptoms is related to Cirrhosis of the liver. These include frequent indigestion, nausea, vomiting, pain in the abdomen, bad breath and low grade fever. Many people with cirrhosis have no symptoms in the early stages of the disease.</p>
<p><strong>Remedy:<br />
</strong>If alcohol excess and dependence is the cause, you must stop drinking alcohol immediately. Once alcohol has damaged the liver, then the liver cells are vulnerable to even small amounts of alcohol. Avoid all alcohol intakes. Eat a well-balanced, high-protein diet (only in consultation with your doctor).Avoid adding salt to meals. Salt may be used in small amounts in cooking. In the later stages, the amount of protein you eat may be reduced from time to time (on the advice of your doctor).Vitamin and mineral supplements may be necessary.<br />

<p>You can reduce the amount of dietary fats in your diet without giving up all your favourite foods. Start with the bread spreads and oils used in cooking. Look for polyunsaturated margarines available in the stores. It is better to opt for oils than the animal fats used for cooking. So, search for vegetable oils in the market. Sunflower, olive, and corn oils are the best for cooking.</p>
<p>As far as the dairy products are concerned, the semi-skimmed milk should be preferred. The skimmed milk is enriched with vitamins. It is better to avoid mature cheese in your food. Instead, use mixture of cream and yogurt in your dishes that are tasty as well as healthy.</p>
<p>Meat is perhaps included in all American diets. Therefore, you should include leaner meats, which contain less fat. We would suggest you to add more vegetables, pulses, and carbohydrates to your diet. Oily fish should be included in your diet as it is enriched with polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are essential for your health.<br />

<p>developing countries or close to 1.3 billion people require oral/dental pain relief.</p>
<p>The decay of the teeth begins when bacteria in the mouth convert the sugars and carbohydrates you eat into acid. This forms a plaque, a sticky deposit that clings to teeth. The plaque causes destruction of the tooth&#8217;s outer enamel surface and reasons cavities. The decay takes at least two years in permanent teeth but less in primary teeth. The initial formation of acid happens just in the first 20 minutes of consuming food.<br />
Just follow these steps to make you free from teeth problems.</p>
<p>Take care to brush your teeth at least twice a day. This includes morning and evening or after every meal or snack. Take care to use dental floss before brushing, preferably at night. This helps in cleaning the areas that toothbrush can&#8217;t reach.</p>
<p>In case of babies’ clean try to clean their gums twice a day with a moist cotton ball.</p>
<p>Make it a point to visit the dentist twice a year even if you are not suffering from any problems.</p>
<p>Use a fluoride tooth paste when brushing and also get fluoride from supplements, mouthwashes, apples, eggs, sea foods and tea.</p>

<p>Wanna get in the mood? Don’t worry if there is no Viagra in stock. Go and get a fresh juicy watermelon, ‘coz scientists in Texas say that watermelon has Viagra-like effects. According to them, an ingredient of watermelon called as citrulline triggers the production of a compound which helps relax the body’s blood vessels, just like Viagra does.</p>
<p>&#8220;The more we study watermelons, the more we realize just how amazing a fruit it is in providing natural enhancers to the human body,&#8221; said Dr. Bhimu Patil, director of Texas</p>
<p>A&amp;M&#8217;s Fruit and Vegetable Improvement Center in College Station.</p>
<p>According to Dr. Bhimu Patil, arginine boosts nitric oxide which relaxes blood vessels. He adds that, “the same basic effect that Viagra has, to treat erectile dysfunction and maybe even prevent it.” &#8220;Watermelon may not be as organ-specific as Viagra, but it&#8217;s a great way to relax blood vessels without any drug side effects” added Patil.</p>
<p>Citrulline reacts with the body’s enzymes if it is consumed in large quantities. It then gets converted into arginine, an amino acid, beneficial for the heart, circulatory and immune systems.</p>
<p>About 60 percent of citrulline is present in watermelon rind. Scientists may succeed in finding ways to boost the concentration of citrulline in the flesh of watermelon.</p>
<p>The highest content of citrulline is found in the yellow-fleshed types, although citrulline is found in all colors of watermelon, said Penelope Perkins-Veazia, a USDA researcher in Lane, Okla.</p>
<p>She also said that though Patil’s research is valid, watermelon has to be taken with a caveat. She explained that a man would need to eat about six cups of watermelon to get enough citrulline to boost the body’s arginine level. She added that “when you eat a lot of watermelon, you tend to run to the bathroom more”.</p>
<p>Another issue cited by Perkins-Veazia is the high sugar content of watermelon. According to her, “the amount of sugar that much watermelon would spill into the bloodstream is a jolt that could cause cramping.”<br />

<p>Soothing music induces sleep, so if you want a good times sleep and which is relaxed too. Then do not forget to listen to music. And it should be soothing enough, listen to music which is soft and\d touches the chord of your heart.</p>
