Hence people resort to various techniques to increase their height. But there are like high-intensity anaerobic exercises like growing taller stretches, swimming, and cycling that have been accepted by the medical researchers to increase your height. And a few more ways to improve your height naturally are:</p>
<p><strong>Stretching Exercises: </strong><br />
While doing resistance training stretches, you should aim to increase the secretion of human growth hormone. Human growth hormone is responsible for thickening the cartilage, making the bones denser and increasing your height. These exercises will help you improve your posture. You can, at any age, add an inch or two of height by simply improving your posture. The way to do this is to exercise intensely for at least 10 minutes to increase your chances of becoming taller. There is no other way or technique that can lead to becoming taller except some stretching exercises.</p>
<p><strong>Eat balanced diet:</strong><br />
If you are still within the growing age then perhaps you can add a few inches by eating a balanced diet and leading an active life. A nutritious diet that includes fruits and proper diet including vegetables, dairy, cereals, meat, and plenty of water will aid the natural process for enhancing height. Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.</p>
<p><strong>Have Proper sleep:</strong><br />
A good and proper night’s sleep is also essential for the growth process. Your body feels relaxed after proper sleep and it will help you to improve your height to an extent. There is not much we can do to grow taller after puberty. But we can surely try these few natural techniques.</p>
<p><strong>Dress up that gives u a tall look: </strong><br />
if you are not tall you can create a “Taller” effect by following some smart fashion techniques. You can easily add another inch or two of “illusionary height” by improving your dress coordination.</p>
<p><strong>Diet for bones: </strong><br />
Calcium in real foods such as dairy products is useful for aging bones too. We should eat better to help keep bones strong. And this can be obtained from dairy products, yogurt and cheese. Protein from meats and eggs are essential for the marrow or the red portion of bones as well. It helps you to increase height.</p>
<p>There are many products in the market today that claim to increase height of adults, but they are all cheaters without sufficient scientific evidence. Surgical options, available in the market today , are EXTREMELY RISKY and of course expensive. Hence stick only to natural ways to grow tall.</p>

It’s no secret that the long hours we work and spend in front of the computer in offices harm especially the eyes.<br />
Do you know your eyes are probably two of the busiest and most sensitive organs and easily become fatigued? And it happens especially if a poor diet and lack of an exercise routine are the norm.</p>
<p>Ophthalmologists give some simple advice on how to reduce eye fatigue and minimize the appearance of puffed eyes by means of proper nutrition and regular exercise to maintain healthy sight.</p>
<p><strong>1.</strong> Eat lots of fruits like orange, apple, mango and vegetables like Cabbage family, Carrots, loaded with beta carotene is especially helpful in maintaining healthy eyes.</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong> Get cucumber and cut it into pieces. Press cold cucumber slices gently against eyes 10 minutes before going to sleep at night to prevent puffiness.</p>
<p><strong>3. </strong>Wear UV protective sunglasses. Get polarized lenses and use them rather using just dark lenses. Prolonged exposure to UV rays can harm your eyesight; protection in youth can help prevent loss of eyesight in later years.</p>
<p><strong>4.</strong> Be sure to wear goggles or other eye protective wear when working with chemicals or on outdoor.</p>
<p><strong>5.</strong> Feel relaxed by Looking at distant objects either in your office or outside. Try taking such visual breaks for about five to 10 minutes every hour.</p>
<p><strong>6.</strong> Keep two used tea bags in the refrigerator before you leave for work. Once you are home, place the tea bags on your eyes for a few minutes - this will soothe your tired eyes.</p>
<p><strong>7.</strong> While you keep your eyes closed, roll your eyeballs both clockwise and anticlockwise. Gradually open your eyes while releasing your breath. This exercise lasts for a minute and you can repeat it three times before getting back to work.” It serves as a good workout for the eyes</p>
<p><strong>8.</strong> Try and quit smoking because the truth about smoking and its effects on the body, especially the eyes, is that it’s harmful. So keep your eyes away from smoke.</p>
<p>If correct eating and exercise done it rules, and protective measures are taken in ensuring your body&#8217;s over all well-being, there&#8217;s no doubt the eyes will be less puffy and will always look beautiful and healthy. So use these simple ways and enjoy BEAUTIFUL EYES….</p>

As people wants to do lot of work all together and hence feels stressed very often. So Explore some stress busters to pick up quick and simple stress relief tips, choose relaxing nature wallpaper for your desktop, listen to some relaxation music, or absorb yourself in our free stress relief games and online puzzles!</p>
<p>Concentrate on your breathing. Inhale for 5 seconds and then slowly exhale for 5 seconds. Concentrate only on your breathing in this manner for 2 minutes. Once you get used to breathing in this way, use this method along with the others below.</p>
<p><strong>1.</strong>	Roll your head slowly around. Shrug your shoulders as high up toward your ears as you can and then slowly relax your shoulders. Repeat 5 times.</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong>	Use aromatherapy: visit a spa nearby when feel stressed and get an aromatherapy treatment such as lavender etc. You will feel relaxed.</p>
<p><strong>3.	</strong>Look around and feel refreshed: It could be a flower or a painting or something you keep with you, such as a seashell. Take a few minutes to concentrate on it and the calming feelings it brings. For example, a seashell could remind you of sitting on a beach with a cool breeze and the sound of the ocean.</p>
<p><strong>4.</strong>	Starting with your feet, tense and relax your muscles. Work your way up to your legs, abdomen, arms, etc. Work on one part of your body at a time and notice how you feel tensed and relaxed. Concentrate on keeping your body in a relaxed state for a few minutes. Do some stretching exercises making sure you stretch all parts of your body.</p>
<p><strong>5.</strong>	Listen to music: Get the CDs if you need to, otherwise, download songs that you like from internet. Use different songs for different types of stress or make up silly words to songs to fit your circumstances.</p>
<p><strong>6.</strong>	Find a &#8220;venting&#8221; partner. Call them when you find yourself in a terribly stressful situation and let them know you are venting, you don&#8217;t need someone to solve your problem or criticize, you just need to vent about your current situation. Once you are done venting, thank them for listening.</p>
<p><strong>7.	</strong>Take a walk outside. Fresh air is a wonderful de-stressor. Take a few minutes to breathe in the fresh air. Or try go to a beach if nearby.</p>
<p><strong>8.</strong>	Try which interests you: Try knitting, needlepoint or something that doesn&#8217;t require thinking too hard. Taking a few<br />
minutes to concentrate on something else will allow your mind to stop thinking about the problem at hand.</p>
<p><strong>9.</strong>	Meditate: concentrate on one thing or repeat a phrase over and over. This is difficult to accomplish at first, but with practice you will be able to empty your mind for a couple minutes and feel refreshed and be ready to start again.</p>
<p><strong>10.</strong>	Reading: While on break, at lunch, Read anything on your computer. Dive into something inspirational or spiritually enlightening, or find a funny story or comic strip that will make you laugh. Since you&#8217;re doing this for energy renewal and stress reduction, you will probably want to avoid the front page of the newspaper!</p>
<p><strong>11.</strong>	Writing: Write a poem, a note to a friend or family member, or a diary entry it will make you feel lighter. As you will note down your thoughts. Read them later and you will feel different.</p>
<p><strong>12.	</strong>Drawing: Draw something, sketch, or a body art. Sometimes you can try making graffiti too. You will enjoy such activities. And your stress will also go away.</p>
<p><strong>13.</strong>	Swimming: swimming is a very nice de stressor. It is also a very good exercise. Try you will feel better as water has calming effects.</p>
<p><strong>14.</strong>	Look towards sun at dusk: at the time of dusk look at the sky and sun. You will feel so much better.</p>
<p>These are just a few de- stressors. Try more of them if you can find.</p>

It is also known as roughage. Earlier it was not considered important or useful for our body and health. But now Researchers believe, with more and more research showing that a high-fiber diet may help prevent cancer, heart disease, and other serious ailments, roughage has started to get some respect. And suggests that we should be eating at least 25 grams of fiber per day, instead of the 12 grams most people are eating.</p>
<p><strong>Helps in Weight loss:</strong> Well, it is said that fiber serves as the perfect way to reduce your appetite. This can be attributed to the fact that fibrous foods also known as cellulose and hemicelluloses, occupy a large space of your stomach, thus making you feel full and thereby enable you to avoid overeating. When you eat whole grain food, your hunger is satisfied faster. When you fill up on high fiber foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and nuts, you are less likely to have room for high-fat, low-fiber foods with high calorie count. When you eat fewer calories by including fiber in your diet, you can lose weight or maintain a healthy weight.</p>
<p><strong>It Purifies blood:</strong> Fibre lowers your blood cholesterol level, by removing bile acids that digest fat. It also takes the responsibility of regulating your blood sugar. Also your risk factor of falling prey to kidney diseases is greatly reduced. So, incorporate fiber in your daily meals and derive its ultimate health benefits.</p>
<p><strong>It Reduces the risk of Cancer:</strong> It is widely believed that fiber-rich diets would prevent colon cancer. Researchers believed that fiber strands formed a mesh network that grabbed on to cancer-causing substances and flushed them out of the intestines. Then one study also showed that women who ate 26 grams of fiber a day were not less likely to develop colon cancer compared to the study participants who only ate 8.5 grams.</p>
<p><strong>Heart disease: </strong>Research published in the September 1999 issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that fiber was a shield against heart disease. In fact, it was shown that women who ate at least 25 grams of fiber per day were 40% less likely to have a heart attack than the women who ate less than 9 grams of fiber a day. This was also true of the men in the studies. They could cut their risk of having a heart attack by 50% by eating a high fiber diet.</p>
<p><strong>Sources:</strong> Fiber can be found in many foods: multigrain pancakes, muffins, whole grain bread, kidney beans, fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Whole wheat bread is an excellent source of high fiber. Remember, the darker the color of the vegetables, the richer in nutrients they tend to be. Broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts - are a healthy choice for meals.</p>

Heart is the most important part of our body. But who cares for it do you? We pay much more attention to our hair style, or looks. But what about organ like heart, which drives you for nearly 70 to 90 years. Care taking of the internal organ like heart is much more important then our peripheral body.</p>
<p>Most of us often abuse our heart in our daily life. We smoke, Inhale those chemical to have that stupid feeling. Abusing heart is not just about smoking, even the people who dose not smoke also abuses their heart very often.</p>
<p>There is whole list of things which we eat giving no thought to its impact on heart. In our daily life most us often eat red meat, egg yolk (yellow of the egg), cheese, butter and saturated and trans fats containing all fried foods. All these foods reduces your heart efficiency, some increase your cholesterol and ultimately leading to high blood pressure and other heart problems.</p>
<p>According to a survey almost every seventh person in the world is suffering from some or the other disease relating to heart. To keep our heart healthy we must have good amount of vegetables, fruits, pulses and breast of chicken in our diet. Only olive oil, mustard oil or sun flower oil should be used in cooking food.</p>
<p>If heart remains healthy it increases work efficiency it self and person lives a long and healthy life. Where as if you keep abusing your it will lead you no where the bunch of health problems</p>
<p>Here are some tips by heart specialists to keep heart in good condition</p>
<p><strong>1.</strong> Low amount of salt and spices should be used in food. Only iodised salt should be used.</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong> Those people who drink wine, red wine is a better option because of the presence of antioxidants.</p>
<p><strong>3.</strong> Regular exercise is must for both younger and aged people to keep heart healthy.</p>
<p><strong>4. </strong>Water intake is very important, at least a liter of water is must daily. Drinks like aerated drinks should be avoided.</p>
<p>If you don’t abuse your heart in early stage of life, It will be in better condition in your later stage, and last long. It is not a tough job to care for your heart, you just need to give up some things and induce more of others in your life, that’s very small price to live healthy and every one can pay that for better life.</p>

Moreover today, we all know that our intake of calories and fat is much more than before so we need to burn them in order to maintain our health which is possible only through exercise .It is necessary for each one of us to some or the other physical activity to keep our self fit and toned.</p>
<p>Regular physical exercise have got many positive impacts like reduces stress, helps in providing  quality sleep , keeps your metabolic  rate active moreover It makes you are also less prone to diseases. Keeps your skin glowing and adds to your freshness.</p>
<p>We all might not be able to go to gym for exercise, so what start working out some of the basic at the same time effective exercise at your home. Otherwise it may lead to increase in fat storage in our body making us fat. But we can perform certain exercises which needs less time and we don’t have to go to gym for them, like push –ups, jogging and skipping. Following steps may help you in starting it</p>
<p><strong>JOGGING</strong><br />
Jogging and running are worlds best kind of cardiovascular workout .This can be done in parks or within the compound if spacious.Simple trick is to start slowly and then steadily increase the pace. 25 to 30 minutes of walk is effective if practiced daily.</p>
<p><strong>SWIMMING</strong><br />
Swimming involves all important body muscles, so those who have swimming pool at there home can take up swimming, which is fabulous exercise and workout to keep the body fit and healthy.</p>
<p><strong>CRUNCHES FOR ABS</strong><br />
Lie down flat on your back .your knees should be bent and your feet placed comfortably on the floor.Remember that you hold for few seconds at the top of the movement and squeeze hard.  Almost 70 raps should be done initially but later should be increased.</p>
<p><strong>PUSH-UPS</strong><br />
If you want to be fit then push-ups are must. Minimum of 50 push-ups are must on daily basis even if you do no other exercise. Push-ups is a good work out cause they get heart pumping  strengthen key muscles in your arms , shoulders and chest and improve posture by working on upper core.</p>
<p><strong>SKIPPING</strong><br />
Well this is another complete exercise which shows many impacts like updates cardio system of our body, keeps body toned and burns high number of calories. It’s a great method to increase the body stamina, ask boxers. Skipping can be started with 100 to 200 at a time and should be increase as much as you can so that your body sweats and burns accumulated fat.</p>
<p>Thus we see that how 15 to 20 minutes of exercise helps you in being fit physically and moreover they also works on your stress levels , metabolic rate and many other essential functions .so why compromise on so many benefits which needs just little hard work.</p>

Eating chocolate may actually be good for you.  Researchers have found that raw and processed cocoa - as is found in chocolates contains not only carbohydrates, fats, and vegetable proteins, but also has large quantities of potassium and magnesium, some calcium and sodium, and vitamins A1, B1, B2, D, and E. as a matter of fact Dark chocolate is more beneficial than milk chocolate. According to preliminary studies</p>
<p><strong>Decrease blood pressure:</strong> chocolate contains the antioxidants, which may help decrease blood pressure and improve circulation, according to preliminary study results released at a medical conference. Researchers found eating 100g of dark chocolate each day for 15 days lowered blood pressure in the 15 person.</p>
<p><strong>Improve circulation: </strong>Improve function of endothelial cells that line the blood vessels in return improves blood circulation in body.</p>
<p><strong>Reduces risk of heart diseases:</strong> Phenols, found in chocolates, may help reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Catechins, which are antioxidants that may help protect the body against cardiovascular disease and possibly cancer, are found in substantially higher quantities in chocolate than in black tea.</p>
<p><strong>Improves mood swings:</strong> Chocolate also contains a neurotransmitter, serotonin that acts as an anti-depressant.</p>
<p>Defend against destructive molecules called free radicals, which trigger cancer: Flavonoids fight against cancer and it exist in a wide variety of foods and beverages other than chocolates such as apples, peanuts, red wine, and tea. Some of the saturated fat contained in chocolates is needed in body to provide protection against skin cancer which unsaturated fats cannot do.</p>
<p>Many studies of also shown that eating chocolate has helped treat patients with anemia, kidney stones and poor appetite.</p>
<p>As excess of anything may cause health problems like you can gain weight and others so always limit yourself and avoid eating excess of chocolates. But, taken in smaller quantities, it could prove to be very beneficial to your health. But eating healthy food other than such snack is always advisable.</p>

Some terms associated with substance abuse are – substance misuse; drug addiction and alcohol use. Substance abuse could be due to sniffing, inhaling, swallowing, drinking, smoking or injecting. The use of   psychoactive substances can bring changes and variations in mood, alter the frame of mind and lead to dependence syndrome. Substance abuse thus has a detrimental impact on the mental health of the person indulging in it.</p>
<p>Reasons for substance abuse may vary in accordance to the situations and contexts.   Curiosity, urge towards experimentation, peer influence, family problems, depression etc are the most common reasons behind substance abuse.  The use and subsequent abuse of addictive substances  not only  affect  individual behavior but also create burden on  the society due to increased social and economic costs on account of prolonged healthcare, absenteeism from work place, and loss of productive man days.</p>
<p>These harmful substances are generally classified into three broad categories including:</p>
<p><strong>1.	Opiates: </strong>Heroin, Morphine and Opium belong to this group. The usage of opiates leads to a state of tranquility and ecstasy.</p>
<p><strong>2.	Amphetamines:</strong> Cocaine, Nicotine, Ecstasy and Speed are amphetamines. These drugs are essentially used for stimulation of nervous  system</p>
<p><strong>3.	Downers:</strong> Alcohol and Barbiturates belong to this category. Downers are basically depressants.</p>
<p>According to the World Drug Report 2008, there are 165.5 million users of cannabis products. 24.7 million People use amphetamines; 16 million use cocaine and 12 million uses Heroin.Substance abuse can cause health problems such as liver disease, lung disease, heart disease, vitamin deficiencies, and brain damage. Use and abuse of addictive substances can also lead to conditions such as HIV/ AIDS or hepatitis, which are transmitted through shared, dirty needles. Overdoses of certain substances can even lead to death.  Some social consequences of substance abuse are damage to work, family, and personal relationships.</p>
<p>Treatment of substance abuse depends upon the person undergoing treatment and the substance/s being taken.  Treatment programs for substance abuse should also take into consideration the possibility of relapse due to constant craving by the person who is undergoing treatment. Treatment strategies include behavioral treatment, counseling and medication.</p>

Approximately 2 million children die each year due to water born diseases. Patients suffering from waterborne diseases occupy 50 percent of the world’s hospital beds. Risks posed by waterborne health complications are second only to malnutrition thereby, compounding the global disease burden.</p>
<p>Access to proper sanitation and safe drinking water is crucial for maintaining good health and this is especially important for children since children below 14 are most vulnerable to water born diseases. Water-borne diseases refer to those infectious diseases which are primarily spread through contaminated water. In developing countries, water-borne diseases account for four-fifths of all illness. Diarrhea diseases account for a considerable share of the total disease burden, and about ninety percent of this burden is reportedly attributable to the supply of unsafe drinking water coupled with improper sanitation, and poor hygiene. Malaria, the water born disease carried by mosquitoes, affects 400 million people and kills 5 million annually.</p>
<p>Cholera, dysentery, hepatitis and typhoid are some of the most common water-borne diseases affecting people in the tropical regions. Besides, diarrhea, respiratory troubles, skin irritation, and other diseases may also be caused by exposure to polluted water. The nature of the health problem depends on the pollutant present in the water body. Mosquitoes and other insects responsible for several diseases find an ideal habitat in stagnant water or other untreated water.</p>
<p>Chemicals in contaminated water lead to numerous health problems.  A fluoride level in drinking water causes fluorosis, characterized by a mottling of the teeth surface; nitrate in drinking water reportedly causes blue baby syndrome among infants aged below six months; nitrate contamination can also increase cancer risk, as it can give rise to highly carcinogenic N-nitroso compounds; infants are at a great risk from the laxative effects produced by sulfate, if they abruptly switch over to drinking water having high sulfate concentrations.</p>
<p>Improper water resource management is the main factor responsible for waterborne epidemics and other health hazards. Therefore, a cleaner as well as healthier environment formed by proper water resource management is crucial for combating water-borne diseases. Community awareness is a key element in preventing the spread of water-borne diseases. Water supply should be checked properly and necessary steps should be taken to disinfect contaminated water. Water pipes need to be checked regularly for leaks and cracks. Domestically, the water should be used after boiling, filtering, or applying other purification method to ensure that the water used for consumption is safe.</p>

Rejuvenation treatment identifies the imbalances in a patient’s body and attempts to heal the actual causal factor using appropriate medicine .It enhances the energy level of the person under treatment and provide mental health and peace. Apart from that rejuvenation therapy improves skin tone and color. After the therapy, person under treatment feels energetic and youthful with a glowing skin and healthy body. It improves resistance of the body as well.  The rejuvenation therapy in Ayurveda is also known as Panchakarma therapy.</p>
<p>The main rejuvenation treatments in Ayurveda are the following:</p>
<p><strong>1.	Rasayana Treatment: </strong> Rasayana is given for toning the skin and for strengthening the tissues. The objective is to achieve health and longevity. This treatment improves vitality and mental agility. It tones up the immune systems of the body. This procedure includes herbal body massages, and steam baths in addition to rejuvenative ayurvedic internal medicines.</p>
<p><strong>2.	Kayakalpa Treatment:</strong> Human beings always wanted immortality. While that is an impossible dream (at least as of now) Ayurveda provides longevity by retarding the aging process. This therapy includes intake of rasayana, and special diets. It is highly effective, especially for those people who are yet to turn 50.</p>
<p><strong>3.	Sweda Karma:</strong> It is a kind of medicinal steam bath which is used to remove impurities from the body. Herbs are boiled and the steam is passed over the entire body for 10 to 20 minutes daily. This treatment improves the skin tone and reduces fat.</p>
<p>It is a highly specialized oil massage. The massage strokes are given according to the disease. Each session lasts for around 45 minutes. It is effective for treating obesity, diabetic gangrene, etc.</p>
<p>Kerala, which is situated in South India, provides the best Ayurvedic rejuvenation treatments in the world. Naturally the state attracted large number of health tourists every year. It had over 300 certified Ayurvedic product manufacturers in 2007. In 2004-07, over 40% of the foreign tourists visited Kerala to experience the healing touch of Ayurveda. The state also had many hotels that offered fine spa facilities for the tourists. Apart from hotel spas, the state had various Ayurveda ashrams that were practicing the Ayurvedic treatments.
