You might be one of those who do not gain weight. Family and friends may envy you for this. Where as on the other hand you might be struggling to gain weight. If you not gaining weight this doesn’t mean you will keep hogging on junk just because it won’t make you fat.
If you are looking for a healthy weight gain rather than only adding body weight. You are to exclude junk completely from your diet plan. Increasing your intake of junk foods and greasy foods is not a good way to gain weight. They contain unhealthy trans fats or saturated fats.
Few tips that will help you gain weight:
• You should eat all the three meals in the day. You can even increase the meals from 3-5 but remember to eat a balanced meal. Wake up on time so that you can have both breakfast and lunch. Try not to skip your meals.
• You should not drink non-caloric beverages like diet soda, and plain coffee or tea. You want calories so drink healthy.
• You should add more and more foods rich in calories in your diet.
• Frits and vegetables should form a major part in your diet.
• Exercise regularly to help your body gain muscles and not unwanted fat. Thirty minutes of daily activity is enough to keep you active and fit.
• Have your meals with the right balance of proteins, carbohydrates, and the right kinds of fat.
• You need to sleep well at least eight hours.
• A high-quality multivitamin and mineral supplement is a good idea to make sure you are getting all of the vitamins and minerals you need.
• You should drink mixed juices instead of one fruit juice for a higher calorie intake.
• You can have snacks in between meals like nuts, dried fruits, and yogurt. Remember to eat snacks which are nutritious. You can even have a snack before bedtime, may be a peanut butter sandwich.
• You can get away with extra carbohydrates if you want a weight gain.
The main thing about putting on weight is that you do it sensibly and that you put on the right kind of weight: muscle rather than fat. The above mentioned tips will help you put on weight sensibly. While following a weight gain regime you need to keep your bones strong and body toned.
