Eating well or working out rigorously is good but some unhealthy habits becomes a part in your healthy life, unhealthy habits such as biting your nails, digging your nose or ear or liking your lips etc.
Bite me
Thought nail biting is bad only coz of the way it makes your hands look? But if you all a compulsive nail bite you can develop fungal nail infection which can even damage your nails permanently proper hygiene is very essential nails are not always clean unless you wash them well before
biting and can lead to an array of troubles- stomach ache, loose motion and vomiting.
Chewing lips
Are you a compulsive licker? If you are the sort who keeps licking their lips, then stop.
Because, it will makes your lips dry and chapped. So much so, they may even become flaky and started and started bleeding. Use a lip balm, instead – it’s safe and smart!
Talk less and eat more
Bonding over the table is quite common. Right from sharing how the day was to plans for tomorrow, during dinner time we open our mouths for more than just food. So, here is an advice: Avoid talking while you are eating. It can be dangerous as the food may enter your wind pipe. Also, be extra cautions while eating crispy stuff because they are dry and can lead to choking. So, keep the conversation for the nightcap!
Nose job
This is one of the yuckiest habits. Yes, we are talking nose digging. There are many who treat their nose as an excavation site! More than just being of putting, the habit can actually harm the delicate area (called little area) of your nose. The area is highly vascular in nature (meaning aids in breathing) and when you forcefully keep digging. It, it can even cause bleeding thus leading to an infection and trauma.
Ear me out
When you itch, you scratch. And most of us involuntarily and unknowingly pick up a pen and it inside our ears to scratch that itch. Beware, as it can lead to acute Otitis Extrena - an inflammation of the ear canal between the eardrum and the outside of the ear. The ear canal can be easily infected because it is dark and warm- apt place for the germs and fungus to thrive. And if the the situation worsens, it can even lead to chronic ear infections called otitis media, which can lead to loss of hearing.
