A happy moment in family… A boy is born. He is cuddled, loved and is played by everyone. Be it his parents or grandparents or relatives of family or the neighbors, all love the new male member of family. Next phase comes is of age group when the child goes to a kinder garden and makes new friends in his life. Some friends last forever and some get left in the passage of life.
After kinder garden’s life it’s the time to enter a school where his life grows and takes the shape for his future. This age group is of year 4 to 16 years. The fun age ends when the boy enters his teen age which in a new scenario of life starts much early than that of year 12. Tensions, burdens, feelings, imaginations and gist of achievement – these factors start evolving within him as per the age he is in.
This teenage leads the young boys in many phases of life – like: Depression, Sexual problems, heart problem and even inheriting some of the attitudes and the things which value to destroy their health. Movement in gangs, night parties, Smoking, hanging out with girls, drinking, and later being addicted with these habits bringing problems for their lives. Once Smoking and drinking becomes the habit and boys start having them almost on regular basis its after the age of 40 years when these boys turned men phase drastic problems in their mouth, lungs, abdomen and pancreas.
There even have been studies conducted by many medical institutions which even states that their fertility can also be effected if at proper stage, proper precautions are not been taken by them.
But this is not the end of the section of men categories. There are even those groups of men who never take alcohol or smoke but they do go with some insulin’s as they prefer to build their body in a more masculine shape with packs and curls and curves in their body which impresses the women around them. However, it’s a natural fact anything against nature do not last for ever. So, even these body-building masculine insulin’s can be of major disaster for them.
So for guys, any drug taken in to reform your appearance be it smoke, alcohol or insulin or any other stuff, your life may be in danger after few years and rather than you bring or thinking that the impression is coming out… think again you may be reducing your age. So, natural eating habits and good and healthy food is the only mantra for a good health and healthy living.

As said by Virgil – “The greatest wealth is HEALTH”. People in today’s busy life should be concerned about their health. With the rising global warning, depletion of UV rays, and increase in tendency of pollution, health has become a major concern for all and specially men.
Men are specifically encircled because even today in majority, it’s the men population that brings the bread and butter with in the family. Men are majorly seen in the field work where they have to eat, drink and inhale what is available out when they are on job.
To conclude in today’s scenario about the men’s health, there are two major factors that determine the physical appearance of a person:
1) How they feel and
2) Their weight.
Men today are conscious about their health but then not all men give concerns to their health. At to a certain age there come certain common and uncontrollable problems like: Diabetics, Blood Pressure, and Heart Problems to men which then require specific diet and exercise which then become a great mediator in their way and their personal looks, weighs and feels.
The diet greatly impacts on the way men looks, the way they approach things. A good balanced diet consists of the five major food groups. No single food can provide all the essential nutrients needed for good health and well being. With whatever effect of Men’s health we even see that Men are often found of Smoking. In their teenage just for fun they start smoking and this smoking fun later becomes their habit and they become use to of it. At times these guys even start taking Alcohol at that tender age itself which unfortunately at to a certain stage brings problem for themselves as their Lungs starts getting destroy, problems like Ulcer, Mouth, Stomach or Lungs Cancer which at to many a times leads to death.
Even at middling age when these men realize their fault, by that time they are under the observation of doctors and are on diet of boiled vegetables, Milk and light exercises. The good health is all lost. The Charms of face is now no where and routine check-ups are then on record. So, just to keep your wealth of health in good conditions, it’s better to maintain a health free from all diseases. Go for routine checkups and introduce control and balance in one’s life.

Some bad things too have benefits when done or taken in moderation. You should be able to follow the middle path. As we all know too much of everything is not good.
Computer games
They isolate you from society and distract you from other important things right? There’s no doubt that many games are found to be offensive by many. But there are many media forms, films or TV programmes, where that is the case. Computer games help you improve your hand-eye coordination and help in developing your I.Q.Studies have proved that stimulation and adventure games such as Sim city and Roller coaster tycoon developed strategic thinking and planning skills. It also improves logical thinking and refreshes your mind but if you are engrossed into it the whole day it may affect your health.
Being a bit overweight
If you worry that being even a few kilos over your target weight is a death sentence, fret not. A study in the US of 2.3 million people showed that those with a body mass index (BMI) of 25 to 30 were technically overweight and were no more likely to die of cardiovascular disease and cancer than those with a healthy BMI of 18.5 to 25. Studies have shown that carrying a little extra flab – though not too much – might help people to live longer. So if you are generally fit and can manage the daily chores and active, then carrying a few kilos is not worth stressing over. If you are clinically obese health risks climb more steeply.
Caffeine
Many people assume that decaffeinated coffee and tea is healthier but there have been suggested link between caffeine and heart palpitations and pancreatic cancer. Coffee combats or delays the development of Parkinson’s disease in men. It is said to stimulate the nerve cell’s production of dopamine to counteract the disease’s symptoms or it may actually be protecting the nerve cells. Caffeine also helps in preventing gallstones. A moderate consumption of caffeine actually benefits. There is a misconception that caffeine is a health hazard and should be monitored in our daily diet. It is said that caffeine is harmful to those with diabetes or hypertension.
Sugary soft drinks
It’s great that these days we have soft drinks coming in diet form. The same drink with virtually no calories. Studies have shown that people who drank diet soft drinks were far more likely to be overweight or obese than those drinking the same amount of non-diet drink. Diet soft drinks may lull you into false sense of security. If you have one diet drink you may think you can have a chocolate bar. If you really want to loose weight you still have to cut down on calories. You can have one sugar drink a week and enjoy it rather than diet drinks that don’t satisfy you.
Wine and beer
Red wine in moderation helps protect against heart disease, but the healing benefits of strong drink don’t stop there. The rich vitamin B6 content in beer can prevent build-up of homocysteine, an amino acid, high levels of which lead to heart attacks. Drinking more than 3-4 units of alcohol a day increases health risks in men. Too much of drinking leads too alcoholism.

“Laughter is the best medicine” its very well said and heard. Everywhere from schools to hospitals and gyms to yoga centre this smile therapy is very advantageous. The medical profession is also currently quite pleased by the concept of Laughter medicine and they advice their patients to make use of it, to get well soon. Many researches and health studies proved that laughter has a healing effect on patients. Fascinating new research seems to be endorsing the ancient understanding that laughter, happiness and a joyful heart are jolly good medicines! It is of common knowledge that happiness leads to good health. The close link between psychological and physical health is clearly manifested in the impact of mood on health.
Think! How good it would be, for you if you don’t have to pop up pills and just have to show your “32 smile”?
Smiling is a great way to make yourself stand out while helping your body to function better. Smile to improve your health, your stress level, and your attractiveness.
Advantages of being happy:
• smile an attraction factor
We gravitate towards people who smile and look happy. There is an attraction factor. We want to look like them and want them to be around. Frowns, scowls and grimaces all push people away — but a smile draws them in. at times, it can also be a key to success.
• Smiling Changes Mood
Next time whenever your mood is off, try to put it on with a smile. There’s a good chance you mood will change for the better. Smiling can help the body into helping you change your mood.
• Smiling Relieves Stress
Stress can really show up in our faces and life. Smiling helps to prevent us from looking tired, worn down, and overwhelmed. When you are stressed, take time to put on a smile. The stress will reduce and you will be able to work better.
• Smiling Lowers Your Blood Pressure
When you smile, there is a measurable reduction in your blood pressure. yes that’s what doctors says. Give it a try if you have a blood pressure monitor at home. Sit for a few minutes, take a reading. Then smile for a minute and take another reading while still smiling. You will surely notice a difference.
• Smiling Releases Natural Pain Killers
Studies have shown that smiling releases endorphins, natural pain killers, and serotonin. That is why it works like a magic when you are ill. Together these three make us feel good. Smiling is a natural drug.
• Smiling Makes You Look Younger
The muscles we use to smile lift the face, making a person appear younger. you will see that you have less wrinkles on face then women next door. Don’t go for a face lift, just try smiling your way through the day — you’ll look youthful and feel better.
• Laughter ‘boosts blood vessels’
The researchers suggested laughter caused the tissue that forms the inner lining of blood vessels, the endothelium, to expand in order to increase blood flow. hence Stress causes blood flow to slow by around 35%, but laughter increases it by around 22%.Heart experts said there was increasing interest in the idea that positive emotions benefited health. Hence smile gives you positive behavior and attitude.
• Smiling Reduces heart danger
it also plays an important role in the development of cardiovascular disease.
Impairment of the function of the lining of blood vessels is an early sign of cardiovascular problems. so keep smiling and have a healthy heart.
• Smiling makes the immune system stronger
perhaps the most exciting medical research on laughter is in the field of effect of the mind on the brain and on the immune system. Researches have shown that whereas suppressed irritation or feelings of intense hatred or frustration, for instance, disturbs the natural, healthy functioning of the immune system, laughter, joy and happiness have been found to help improve the immune system.
“Frowning takes more muscles than smiling,” so why to put more strain on our muscles, if less can be healthier. Keep smiling and stay healthy.

If you are serious about getting rid of acne, then don’t settle for the ordinary acne treatments available at local stores. I can only imagine how tired you must be looking for acne treatments, dealing with acne, and finding or using products that don’t live up to their promise.
You don’t need to waste money on commercial acne products; there are acne cares for men tips that can help you get great looking skin without hurting your wallet.
You can find tons of acne treatments designed particularly for a man’s skin on the internet. Men’s skin care companies such as Amenity, Jack Black, Anthony Logistics, just to name a few, sell amazing acne treatments for men and affordable prices.
What I like most, and I am sure you will to, is that acne treatments for men come either fragrance free or with an awesome masculine scent. And since most of us don’t have hours to spare in the bathroom, products for men are easy to use. The key is to maintain a daily skin care routine just that will make a huge difference to our skin care health.
There is no excuse now to not have good looking skin, start using an acne treatment for men and enjoy healthy looking skin in no time.
However, when it comes to acne treatment for men the strength and amount can vary. Acne treatment for males is also very different when it comes to skin care to help prevent future acne breakouts. One important part of acne treatment for men is proper shaving techniques. During shaving there is a high chance that the pimples can be cut which leads to unnecessary pain and injury.
Acne treatment for males includes products such as topical antibiotics, topical retinoids, oral medications and corticosteroids. The only type of male acne treatment that is prohibited are the ones that use hormonal treatments since these use the same ingredients as birth control and can damage a male’s body over time with repeated use.
Some of the typical cases of acne include products that contain resourcinol benzoyl peroxide or sulphur.they are many treatment methods with plenty of pills, lotions, creams, and gels to remove acne.acccutane is used as the last resort for the stubborn acnes that have not responded to the normal traeatments.
For some people acne would be difficult dealing with but with appropriate lifestyle modifications acne can be managed and minimized and make you feel free of problems related with it.

Millions of people around the world love nothing more than to start their day with a steaming cup of coffee. Drinking coffee has many benefits for our health and well being. Some of coffee’s health benefits accrue as a result of its caffeine content, whereas others are generated by its antioxidants.
Include Drinking Coffee as Part of Your Study Plan
Coffee helps to improve alertness, attention and wakefulness and by that means it facilitates relevant learning. When the study is tedious, boring and not motivating, coffee helps to give you the energy to study and to make the best of it.
Coffee provides significant protection against the development of liver disease
Coffee drinking specifically could be protective against:
• Cirrhosis of the liver -a disease causing progressive damage and scarring of the liver tissue and function.
• Gallbladder disease - by reducing the risk of gallstone formation.
• An increase of liver enzyme activity. A high liver enzyme activity is a recognized indicator that there has been deterioration in the functioning of liver cells and possible development of disease in the liver.
Asthma – Drinking coffee can help to control asthma, and in some cases can even be used to treat an asthma attack when conventional medication is not available.
Headache – Coffee cures or diminishes some types of headaches.
Tooth decay – A compound in coffee called Trigonelline has anti-adhesive and antibacterial properties, which helps prevent cavities.
Kidney cancer – Studies suggest people who drank three or more cups of coffee a day were 16 percent less likely to develop kidney cancer than those who averaged less than a cup per day.
Uterus cancer – Studies suggest that those who drank more than three cups of coffee a day had a 60% less chance of developing tumors in the uterus compared to those who drank coffee less than twice a week.
Diabetes – Heavy coffee drinkers may be half as likely to get diabetes as light drinkers or nondrinkers. Coffee may contain chemicals that lower blood sugar. A coffee habit may also increase your resting metabolism rate, which could help keep diabetes at bay.
IS TOO MUCH OF COFFEE BAD?
Drinking or eating a large amount of caffeine can also speed bone loss and might reduce birth weight and raise the risk of miscarriage. Women who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant are advised to not drink more than two cups of coffee a day. The same is also true for postmenopausal women to guard their bones. Caffeine has also been known to precipitate heart burn, rapid heartbeat, and anxiety.

It’s time to cycle your way to health. Cycling is both a cool and cost-effective way to achieve sporty fitness. Everyday cycling, where the exercise leaves you breathing heavily but not being out of breath, is an effective and enjoyable form of aerobic exercise. Cycling reduces the risk of serious conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity and the most common form of diabetes.
There can also be indirect benefits in terms of reducing injuries from falls, which can be seriously disabling, especially in older people. The strength and co-ordination that regular cycling brings make them less likely. It also reduces the rate of hip factures among physically active older people.
Cycling is said to be the perfect burner
If you want to drop a dress size, then cycling is one of the best ways you can do it .It provides a great overall workout, burning calories and reducing fat. It can’t be beaten when it comes to getting great thighs and a perfectly pert bottom.
Regular cycling will
• Keep your knees and hips flexible
• Help to combat mild depression
• Help you sleep better
• Make you feel more energetic
• Strengthen your heart
• Reduce risk of heart disease by 50 percent
• Improve your blood pressure
• Help you manage your weight
• Give a fitness level equal to that of a person ten years younger
If you are a new player in the field begin with 30 minutes for the first week, building up to longer sessions each week. Start on flat terrain, and then you can introduce a few hills to challenge yourself. By week three, you should aim for 35 minutes and by week five and six you should be aiming for 45 minutes to really see a difference.
A good quality bicycle can be expensive. You need to regularly check your bicycle for signs of wear and tear and fix it if necessary.
If you are cycling at night, it’s important to make sure you can be seen by other road users. Wear reflective clothing.
Cycling is an activity that can benefit people in a variety of ways. It can be a wonderful way to improve your health and fitness while enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Back is an important organ that bears the entire body weight.
Backache is a rather common condition and often seems to be the only disturbing symptom in people otherwise in reasonably good health. It is second only to the common cold as the most common cause of work absenteeism.
MAIN CAUSES OF BACKACHE
1. Most backache patients suffer from cervical or lumbar spondylosis, which is a degenerative disorder in which the vertebral bone or the intervertebral disc becomes soft and loses shape. As a result of this, the spine loses its flexibility.
2. Inactive living habits and hazardous work patterns
3. Muscular tension, joint strain, poor posture, incorrect nutrition and lack of exercise
4. Emotional stress, which brings about spasm of the muscle
5. Arthritis
6. Obesity could lead to strain on the back and result in back pain
HOMEOPATHY TREATMENT
Homeopathy treats the problem holistically by reducing the frequency and intensity of pain, improving back flexibility, reducing dependency on painkillers and increasing work productivity.Stretcing or lifting of heavy weights should be avoided. A firm mattress used for sleeping may be helpful.
Many homeopathic physicians suggest that remedies be used as follows: Take one dose and wait for a response. If improvement is seen, continue to wait and let the remedy work. If improvement lags significantly or has clearly stopped, another dose may be taken. The frequency of dosage varies with the condition and the individual. Sometimes a dose may be required several times an hour; other times a dose may be indicated several times a day; and in some situations, one dose per day (or less) can be sufficient. If no response is seen within a reasonable amount of time, select a different remedy.
HOME REMEDIES
• Proper rest is very important for backache cure. Rest flat on your back for at least 2-4 hours
• Do not bend your back or shoulders while picking up something from the ground. Bend your knee and then pick it up.
• Garlic oil massaged on the back will give great relief.
• Massage your back with mint oil gently
• One of the most effective remedy treating backache is doing Yoga and Pranayama.
• Juice of one lemon mixed with common salt should be given to the patient twice daily
• Apply a heating pad where the back hurts
• For lower back pain: eat nuts daily
• Application of raw potato in the form of poultice also reduces backache
The above listed remedies are easy to follow. But before following any of these consult your general physician.

Modern day work culture, where an urge to achieve and excel demands employees to spend more and more quality time towards their organizations, contributing to the overall growth and prosperity of the organization, To effect this, organizations must ensure workplace wellness of their most valuable resource. Workplace wellness is a noble approach that primarily takes in to consideration three broad aspects, namely Employee Safety, Lifestyle Welfare Programs and Work Environment Enrichment. Knowingly or sometimes unknowingly, most of the times we invite serious and damaging health threats that need equally serious attention to take care of. Most of the time, it is the odd working hours, wrong sitting posture or improper diet (or all of them), which causes small disorders initially that grow in to serious health issues. Workplace Wellness pledges to raise awareness, education and knowledge both among the employees and the employers how to effectively deal with these everyday irregularities in workplaces. It has been observed very often, in case of new recruits that work related stress cause very severe sleep related disorders, putting significant pressure on their other day-to-day activities. Workplace Stress is some times good and necessary to explore someone’s hidden potentials, innovate new approaches to deal with difficult situations and organizational stress management should be promptly mastered. To effectively implement workplace wellness, it may also require a complete make over at the workplaces such as, restructuring the organizational policy, practice of revitalizing health practices, adopting more active life styles and giving up serious health deteriorating practices such as smoking and drinking etc.
it is very prevalent and obvious that employees who are happy and satisfy with their career account for more productivity and profitability and contribute efficaciously to strong decision making and maintaining a healthy work environment inside the organization. They also openly communicate, provide support to balance work and home life, and can manage time and resources efficiently. Ensuring workplace wellness has proved to be a successful business strategy for most of the organizations that wish to attracts and retain good and efficient human capital with them.
Such practices empower the employees and they ultimately deliver the best result and an empowered employee is also stress free and motivated. Workplace wellness ensures five vital components such as camaraderie, credibility, fairness, pride and respect that works well on the attitudinal level of the individual, building an ideal workplace culture and making their job interesting and the organization a perfect place to work.
