There is no place for the doubts regarding the safety of cataract surgery as it is safe and effective to the full extend. If the patient has no have another eye condition, or problems with the retina, the cataract surgery results will be positive. But of course may need reading glasses or glasses for near vision. By removing a cataract, you may improve other eye problems such as near sightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.
