Can Green Tea Cure Prostate Ailment?

Research is going on in the medicine fraternity about the effect of green tea on prostate ailment. According to various studies, green tea is a wonder medicine. Enriched with antioxidants, phytochemicals and chemical substances, green tea has the capability of curing a lot of diseases including prostate cancer and Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH).
These components of green tea work upon growth factors and proteins and acts as an effective prostate medicine. Green tea also restricts the growth of both benign and malignant growths.
Green tea is also used as a herb for the treatment of prostate enlargement. A study conducted by the UK Tea Council found out that only one out of 32 men suffering from pre-cancer lesions were susceptible to the development of prostate cancer after one year of “green tea therapy”. Whereas, nine out of 30 men who were not given the green tea therapy developed prostate cancer.
Green tea is a harmless beverage. The delicate taste of green tea allures your taste buds to want more, but does not cause any harm. Green tea if taken in reasonable quantities if beneficial for your overall health, including prostate health.
