Are you allergic to perfumes?
![]() |
When you spray a perfume in your body, do you feel uneasy and tend to sneeze every time you open the bottle? Well, no doubt, you are allergic to the perfume.
Go back to the time where you purchased the perfume. Did you check the label? NO will be your answer, isn’t it? There comes the problem. Though many of us don’t have the tendency to check the ingredients of a perfume (since it is not a food packet!), but it becomes important to do so when you are allergic to perfumes. So how to know whether the perfume is apt for you or not? Read the rest of this article to get the answer.
The blend of the perfume you choose has a high impact on allergies. Go for perfumes which have the lowest concentrated blend such as Eau de Cologne, which has a maximum of 5% pure perfume ingredients.
Another reason why you are allergic to a particular perfume may be the ingredients which are used to create the fragrance. For example, some synthetic perfumes contain synthetic scents which are created to mimic a natural smell. The synthetics used in the perfume have more staying power and a longer shelf life as compared to the natural smell. The synthetic perfumes are strictly tested for their ingredients. However, they may still have adverse effect on you. If this is the case, search for perfumes containing natural ingredients only. Natural perfume is oil and water based, and will not contain any synthetic ingredients.
The best way to stay away from perfume allergies is to check them for their ingredients.
